Stripes Again

Okay so let's take a moment to talk about this striped dress from H&M. Comfort Central! H&M releases these every year around the summertime, and it's the perfect outfit for pretty much anything. Whether you're lounging around, running errands, or heading to brunch... this dress certainly comes in handy. I think once the seasons change, I'll add tights and an infinity scarf. Even pops of leopard will really make this outfit new again!

All The Basics Together

I can't say enough about the H&M Basic line. Everything is so affordable, and the quality is great! The tees, cardigans, and shirt dresses are all so soft and made to last. I can't get enough!!! This is seriously the most comfortable outfit, and the cardigan is mainly used during the foggy mornings, and the v-neck tee takes center stage during the afternoons.

Wear to Work: Grey Pencil Skirt

Loving this skirt! I tend to wear a lot of darker colors to work, regardless of the season. It's really easy to mix and match pieces that way. Express has an amazing assortment of tops, dresses, skirts and pants that usually fit very well. Always look out for coupon codes on the internet and sales-- seriously, never shop Express full price!

Sleeveless Tunic #FFTravels

After my flight home, I had to attend a birthday party... which meant no time to change! I just dropped my bags off, and then I rushed to dinner. I wore this sleeveless top on the plane with leggings, and then changed into these white jeans for the birthday celebration. I switched out sandals with these heeled sandals for a quick put-together look after a long day of travel.

Khaki Dress #FFTravels

I've really been gravitating toward neutrals lately. Black. White. Beige. Maybe Navy. My style has grown to be simplistic. I instantly fell in love with this khaki dress due to its minimalism, but I did appreciate the button detailing. The only negative about khaki anything is its tendency to wrinkle (Hint: I don't have time for that...team #NoIron)

This was my last day on the strip before grabbing dinner with my cousins. This picture was actually taken right after the water show at the Bellagio! That's always such a treat to see. I was wearing wedges (chunky heel) for this walk which is usually a no-no for trekking up and down the Las Vegas Strip... but at this point... what's another blister?

Beaded Romper #FFTravels

Walking around the Las Vegas strip is no joke. Getting to the next hotel is easily a 30 minute walk. After a night out eating and seeing shows in heels, my feet were on FIRE. Thankfully, during the day I had these sandals on to help with the long walks. In fact, my feet felt better with these sandals on versus being barefoot!

My romper is from Forever 21, and I was impressed with the little beaded details. Honestly, Forever 21 has a huuuge selection of rompers- strapless, lace, beaded, patterns, whatever. There's really no point in paying a lot for a romper when they have such a huge selection for any occasion and for any body type.

Las Vegas changes so much every single time I go. Hotels, clubs, and restaurants come and go. What was hot 3 months ago is on the verge of shutting down. I was shocked to find out PURE in Caesar's Palace is now Omnia! XS is losing steam. There's also this new promenade/hotel called The Linq across from Caesar's Palace which features a ferris wheel ride and outdoor shops and entertainment. Kind of reminded me of the Santa Monta Pier!

A Travel Look #FFTravels

Dressing for a flight is hard. There are several different factors that you need to take into account. First, what is the weather like where you live? Next... what is the weather like where you're headed? Do you have a layover? How long is the flight? The list goes on and on.

For a trip to Las Vegas to celebrate my baby cousin's 21st birthday, it was a pretty quick flight. The only worry was the drastically different weather in SF vs. Vegas. It was 59 degrees in SF, and 100 degrees in Vegas! So nuts! I opted for an eyelet summer dress layered with a chambray button down. Layers are so clutch when dressing for one extreme to the other. I made sure to wear shoes that I could easily take off at the airport if necessary, and a bag that can handle all the weather elements was at the top of my priorities!

Neutrals and Unexpected Studs

This look is a bit edgy... and it's all because of this studded moto jacket that I'd had for the longest time! It goes with everything! Such a great way to dress up a white tee and black jeans. Since it has been unseasonably cool, you better believe that moto jackets and jeans are getting a lot more wear by everyone in the Bay Area!

Welcome to the Jungle

I swear, it looks like I am going on a safari! This dress is super comfy, and perfect for warm days. Too bad it wrinkles easily :/ I paired this khaki dress with all neutral accessories for a look that truly screams Summer!

Oh! Also I should mention that this dress is part of H&M's CONSCIOUS Collection, meaning it is made of sustainable materials! Win-win.

Chambray Party

Here's a look I wore to my cousin's 21st birthday party! It was so much fun seeing the family... everyone is always a blast! Family get-togethers are my favorite because the food is amazing and the company is even better! It was pretty nuts to see how big my cousins are getting! Everyone is growing up, and the family keeps expanding. For more pictures (candids) of me and the fam, you can follow me on Twitter... @_EricaKato

Lady Sings The Blues

Gosh, this sweater gets so much mileage! I have it in pink and blue, and I wear both of them probably once a week. Blue and black is a combo seen on me a LOT! I gravitate toward dark colors sometimes, but the blue isn't too dark so it keeps things light.

Heads up, if you all like to online shop, shipping fees are the absolute WORST. I refuse to pay them. I am constantly looking for coupon codes, or low shipping minimums. Forever 21 is guilty of a $50 free shipping minimum most days which is kind of insane. On holidays, however, you can usually get free shipping without a minimum. 4th of July is probably your next best bet. Also, if you sign up for their e-mails, you can usually get free shipping on that first order... and occasional coupon codes in your inbox!

Comfort Clothes

And the gloomy weather continues... Here's a look involving a basic grey tee, my denim jacket, and these jogger pants that I wear way too much! Unfortunately, they get wrinkled when you walk around/sit etc. Other than that, they feel like sweats.

Stripes & Ruffles

Last week, I showed you how I wore this skirt to the office, and now, here's a vacation look with the same striped skirt! This skirt is made of a very right sweater material, and it's quite thick. I really do love the versatility though. A side braid makes the whole look a little more casual... and these strappy heels are so comfy!

Pink Edge

It would be safe to say that I have the teensy problem of overdressing from time to time. Take this look. This is what I wore to stand in line for 2 Piece Tuesday. Honestly, who does that? It's all I did in this outfit. I changed into something completely different for work. I think because the weather has been so drab, I've been wearing chunky sweaters and leggings (mainly dark colors, too), so I guess I wanted to change things up a bit. Again, a little much for getting fast food, but hey, I always say it's better to be over dressed than under!

PS- The shoes are from GoJane. I couldn't find any similar ones, but obviously they are trying to be Valentino Rockstuds but with a suede feel and a brighter neon pink.
