Talking Scents!

There is no question that I love, love, LOVE fashion & beauty, but I feel like sometimes, we forget to talk about SCENTS! Perfumes contain smells that a natural aphrodisiacs such as vanilla and jasmine. Men are drawn to a woman's scent, and often times, how we smell makes us feel an undeniable sense of confidence. So it makes "SCENTS" that we should be talking about some of the top perfumes!! Here are my picks, starting top left:

Michael Kors Rio de Janeiro: Tuberose, with soft woods and a sensual musk. This scent is just as lively as the city it's named after. Currently, my top pick. It's a very exotic and distinct scent that reminds me of paradise, yet it's appropriate for everyday wear.

Jimmy Choo Stars: Talk about luxury in a bottle! Pear, orange, and orchid are some of the top notes in this zesty limited edition fragrance. A very evolved fragrance, after an hour of wear, it cools down to sandalwood and even toffee!

Marchesa Parfum D'extase: A very light, yet sensual, flora aroma. This scent is delicate yet distinct. Freesia, young violet leaves, night blooming jasmine, ambrox, and musks complete the sublime composition of this intoxicating elixir.

Prada Candy: I constantly reach for this at the department store for a sample! Perfect for Valentine's Day, think white musk, vanilla and caramel combining for the ultimate seductive scent!

Viktor & Rolf Flowerbomb: If you pass by me on the street, chances are, this is what I'm wearing. It literally smells like a secret garden! Notes include sambac jasmine, centifolia rose, cattleya orchid, and ballerina freesia bloom on a base of patchouli.

Juicy Couture Viva La Juicy: I won't EVER give this perfume up! Originally worn by me in high school, I adore this scent and probably will for years to come. A wildly popular (and young) smell, Juicy combines wild berries, warm vanilla, praline, and jasmine. It's flirty and it smells like youth in a bottle!

What is your favorite scent? Let me know in the comments!

  1. I've never gotten into wearing perfumes, but looking at the gorgeous bottles they come in makes me want to get some just to have on my bathroom counter
